Granby and SuttonGranby and Sutton parish is mid way between Nottingham and Grantham two miles south of Bingham and the A52 trunk road. The villages of Granby and Sutton are located in the flat Vale of Belvoir (pronounced beaver). The land was once part of the estate of the Duke of Rutland who still resides at Belvoir Castle, close by. The parish is part of Rushcliffe Borough, based in West Bridgford, Nottingham. |
